"My experience with State Farm was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. After signing up, they insisted I needed a follow-up call. I took time off work, twice, because they stressed how important it was, only for them to completely miss both scheduled calls. After rescheduling yet again, the third call finally happened… and it turned out to be an unnecessary sales pitch that added no value. Things only got worse from there. For the next four months, I had to call every single month because they repeatedly charged the wrong card despite me correcting it multiple times. It felt like no one was actually paying attention or taking responsibility. Eventually, I cancelled due to what was honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I clearly requested that they charge one specific card and refund the rest. Ten days went by with no refund, so I followed up only to find out they had once again charged the wrong card and decided to mail a refund without ever informing me. At no point did they proactively communicate or follow up about any of these issues. To make matters worse, my assigned agent (Darden) was completely unavailable. After signing up, I never once got to speak with her again. I switched to Geico and ended up with a lower quote for better coverage, which made the whole situation even more frustrating in hindsight. Overall, this was a disorganized, time-wasting, and deeply frustrating experience. I would absolutely not recommend State Farm."
